You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Very well, but why is my whole user page gone? It's now a redlink, as far as I'm aware the only thing that should have been removed was the photo. Greeny908 (talk) 12:22, 3 January 2022 (UTC)

Nevermind, this was a mistake on my end. I was confusing my Wikipedia user page with my Wikimedia Commons user page. My Wikipedia user page is fine, and I don't think I ever made a Wikimedia Commons user page. Sorry about that.

That being said, what was the problem with the photo in the first place? I could have sworn I uploaded it to Wikipedia, and not to Wikimedia Commons. Greeny908 (talk) 12:29, 3 January 2022 (UTC)

I think it didn't look like a selfie so that the "author" (=photographer) is unclear/unknown which results in a licensing problem because one cannot license someone elses work. Perhaps the deletion could have been avoided (blind-eye borderline case) if you had added the image to your user pages. Another hint: On m:User:Greeny908 you can create a global user page that is shown on all wikis you didn't create a local one on. --Achim55 (talk) 13:07, 3 January 2022 (UTC)

I did add the photo to my user pages. I don't know what I should do in that case - should I reupload the photo and put it on all of my user pages, upload a photo that looks more like a selfie, or should I just not bother with it? I've seen other users with their picture on their userpage which is why I put mine on, I thought it was allowed. Are such pictures considered as having a "realistic educational purpose", and were there any other rules I accidentally broke? Greeny908 (talk) 13:14, 3 January 2022 (UTC)

Sorry, I didn't look up the history of your user pages. You are not a "non-contributor", so I'd load up a selfie (using a different file name to avoid complications) and add it. That is allowed, see {{User page image}}, which the image page should then be tagged with. --Achim55 (talk) 14:36, 3 January 2022 (UTC)

I’ve just had this image undeleted because it didn’t violate rule F10, as was originally stated. Is there a different rule the image broke?
