Kholodny Yar flag
[edit]Hello! I wanted to ask you if you knew which of the two flag designs you uploaded are the "correct" one to be using in infoboxes? This DSnews article has an illustration that shows the flag was different on the obverse and reverse, but I don't know the veracity of it and since you've been doing all the new Ukrainian emblem stuff I figured you'd probably know best. - Also as an unrelated sidenote, the other ABN logo they used was uploaded as an SVG here, so this will probably save you some time with having to illustrate it lol. NorthTension (talk) 19:57, 6 December 2023 (UTC)
- Hello! I apologize for the long response, unfortunately due to my military service I can’t be online often. Unfortunately, the Kholodnoyarsk Republic did not have an official flag and used various slogans in a black flag with a trident. The slogan “Ukraine's will or death”(Воля України або смерть) was more widespread, but still not official. The slogan “And a new fire will blow from Kholodny Yar” (І повіє новий огонь з Холодного Яру) was taken from the work of Taras Shevchenko and was also used on the flags. It would not be a mistake to use one of them as the “main” one. If you have any more questions, I will be happy to answer! GlibThomas (talk) 11:52, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for the response! For the question of infoboxes though do you have one that you think would be "most accurate" to use across Wikipedia, or is the one thats already in the infobox good as is? NorthTension (talk) 16:58, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
