Mystery church?
[edit]Thankyou for donating File:View of the front of the Holy Trinity Church, Horwich 1983.jpg. Puzzlingly it was categorised under Category:Richmond Castle. I have corrected this and added some more categories that seem to be correct.
However, the image does not match other images of Category:Holy Trinity Church, Horwich, so I have not added it to that category. It seems to be of a similar architectural period to Category:Former Church of the Holy Trinity, Bolton, but it is clearly not that church either. The tower more closely resembles that of File:St. Peter, Halliwell - geograph.org.uk - 104065.jpg or File:Christ Church, Walmsley.jpg, but nor is it either of those churches!
For the moment I'm baffled. Please can you cast your mind back 33 years to identify which church it really is, so that it can be categorised for certain? If not I can transfer it to Category:Unidentified churches in the United Kingdom in the hope that someone else will recognise it!
