Could please start something like this for the cases outside China? -- 2001:4DD5:4643:0:80E1:F205:84C0:4851 02:23, 22 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Galerita, thank you for the semi-log plots. I find them very helpfull. I made some of the semi-log plots during the Ebola epidemic in 2015. It is a lot of work to update the diagrams every day when new numbers are available and upload them. End of 2015 the plots looked like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Western_African_Ebola_virus_epidemic&oldid=674519376#Graphs. There where some discussions to remove the semi-log plots, but finally there was a consense to leave them during the active phase of the epidemic. They are now removed from the article, which makes sense for me as the Ebola epidemic is now history and there is no need for such a daily visualition of the actual grow anymore. A barnstar from *Doc James*. That is pretty much the highest-level of applause you can get on Wiki can give for contributions to medical content! Well done. Jheald (talk) 15:25, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Log-linear daily rate chart for the major outbreaks in Europe

[edit]

Hi Galerita,

Is there any chance of a chart like File:NCoV20200209 Hubei China ROW cases.png for the major outbreaks in Europe?

It would be really useful for an idea of how different countries' strategies may be affecting the rate of increase. Thanks. Jheald (talk) 15:22, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
