higher resolution photos?
[edit]Hi NV, I've seen a couple of your sunset and seaside photos as part of the WLM uploads and they are wonderful. I wanted to let you know that in general it is better to upload higher resolution photos for consideration in contests or featured images on Commons. Here are general image guidelines: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Image_guidelines
I wonder if you have higher resolution images of your shots that you would want to upload?
Happy to talk about it or any other issues. Happy uploading. Almonroth (talk) 00:17, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
- Hi DP, I usually do highest resolution I've got with my Mark II. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Almonroth. Of course it's up to you, but there's not much downside to higher resolution IMO. Thanks for the link to your personal site - your work is amazing! I'm really encouraged that you're participating here in WLM 2012 Almonroth (talk) 01:21, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

If you'd like to start editing relevant Wikipedia articles and share your knowledge with other people, please go to the Wikipedia Welcome page for more information, guidance, and help. To make future contests even more successful than this year, we would like to invite you to share your experiences with us in a short survey.
