No Smoking

[edit]

Isn't the No Smoking sign unofficial? VulpesVulpes42 (talk) 19:35, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It's not in the SDRE, but it is in such widespread use that I consider it official. Fry1989 eh? 20:08, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unofficial height limit

[edit]

I am not questioning your excellent sense of judgement, but when I saw that you uploaded that file, one thing came to mind:
Many countries use orange signs for temporary situations. Is there any possibility of this sign being official in any capacity? Since you have not only uploaded SDRE signs, but also official non-SDRE implied by other legal documents, I could safely assume that you have checked thoroughly, but I am asking just in case. —VulpesVulpes42 (talk) 19:25, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for asking. I have a manual from the LTA for temporary/roadworks situations, and it does not appear in that manual. Instead it shows the prohibition signs in their standard white background with red circle. So it does appear to be an unofficial variation. Fry1989 eh? 20:14, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Is this useful?

I found this link. I hope that it's useful. VulpesVulpes42 (talk) 19:38, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I have that as well. Fry1989 eh? 20:09, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
