Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. Your Flickr photos
[edit]Commons does not allow non-commercial/non-derivative license like the one you used for your uploads. You probably want to change them on the Flickr page. Ytoyoda (talk) 04:06, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- I didn't tag the images for deletion - that's just what the Wiki software does when you choose a non-commercial license. Go back to your Flickr photo - see where it says "License" on the right? Next to the words "Some rights removed", if you hover over the icons, you'll see that it's licensed {{Cc-by-nc-2.0}}. Changing the license should be pretty straightforward.--Ytoyoda (talk) 04:36, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, but I should add, if you scanned a photo from a magazine, the copyright belongs to the magazine. And if you retouched another photographer's picture, the copyright still belongs to the photographer as well. --Ytoyoda (talk) 04:39, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
What?
[edit]Excuse me?! I told you I won't have any further controversy with you. What are you talking about. I don't have any ficker pictures my pictures are not on ficker. I demand you to erase your comments off my talk page. And I NOTICED YOU RETRIVED MY PERMITION TO CHECK. What's your problem. Iwas just helping another user. You have to checked who you reply to.
