Hallo, FlyAkwa. Still on the subject of your update of this file, you should update the line lyon turin, as the French side the construction of the main tunnels began in 2007, while the Italian side of the tunnel construction began on the basis of the Magdalene in June 2011. Sorry to interlude, but could you also add the Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod Sapsan route to the map. Thank you.

Hallo, FlyAkwa. Still on the subject of your update of this file, you should update the line Grosseto - Orbetello, to 200 Km/h. Thanks User talk:Ceppicone

image update about high speed railway

[edit]

Hi, I'm a railfan from Hong Kong. The Eastern Asian high speed rail map is needed to update, the detail are as follows:

  • Hefei-Bengbu section is opened, speed 300 km/h.
  • Hangzhou-Ningbo section is opened, speed 300 km/h.
  • Nanjing-Hangzhou section is opened, speed 300 km/h.
  • Tianjin-Qinhuangdao section is opened, speed 300 km/h.
  • Harbin-Dalian section is opened, speed 300 km/h.
  • Harbin-Qiqihar section is under construction(u/c).
  • Guangzhou-Shenzhen section raised its speed to 300 km/h with Shenzhen-Hong Kong section u/c.
  • Suining-Chongqing section is opened, speed 200 km/h.
  • Yichang-Wuhan section is opened, speed 200 km/h.
  • Panjin-Yingkou (the small section linking Qinhuangdao-Shenyang and Harbin-Dalian line) is opened, speed 300 km/h.
  • Aomori-Sapporo section is u/c.
  • Nagano-Kanazawa section is u/c.
  • The spelling should be Yangpingguan instead of Yangpingguan"g".
  • Bejing-Tianjin and Nanjing-Shanghai intercity railway should be separate from Bejing-Shanghai high speed railway. They do not share the same track.
  • It's K"a"goshima instead of Kogoshima.
  • Small reminder: Xi'an-Baoji, Xiamen-Shenzhen, Chongqing-Lichuan will open before 2014.

Please change the file. As China builds its high speed rail network crazily, this file has to be updated very frequently. Thanks! --Owennson (talk) 12:30, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Owennson, thank you for your update of informations about High Speed Rail in Asia. I will edit the SVG map as soon as possible. --FlyAkwa (talk) 19:10, 14 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well, thanks. One more thing, I would like to know how to update the photos so that I won't need to bother you for these things. Thanks! By the way, in 28th Dec, China opened lots of HSR lines: Xi'an-Baoji (300 km/h), Nanning-Liuzhou (200 km/h), Xiamen-Shenzhen (200 km/h), Maoming-Zhanjiang (200 km/h), Chongqing-Lichuan (200 km/h), Hengyang-Liuzhou (200 km/h), and I forgot that there are Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong HSR (300 km/h), with Guangzhou-Shenzhen conventional line (200 km/h) before. Please help me to change. Thanks! --Owennson (talk) 07:11, 29 December 2013 (UTC)(A file that update more frequently would be a file named rail map in China.)--Owennson (talk) 08:56, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Done. To edit yourself the picture, you need to learn to use InkScape. Inkscape is a free, powerful vectorial editor, but not really easy to use.
Please update the "list of lines" in the page with all your last updates.
--FlyAkwa (talk) 23:27, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry. Maybe I did not explain the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong (GZ-SZ-HK) one in detail. As what I know, there are 2 parallel lines on the GZ-SZ-HK. One is from GZ-SZ, that is XRL GZ-SZ section which is 300 km/h, with the SZ-HK section u/c, expected to complete in 2015. The another line is the conventional GZ-SZ line, which is 200 km/h and does not extend to Hong Kong. And the XRL should be the west of Zhujiang Delta and turn to east with the convention one directly to east. I hope this may be clearer and change the file again. Sorry. Thanks! --Owennson (talk) 10:05, 31 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I hope it's correct now. What do you think about a new Wikipedia page with all High Speed lines (in the World), based on the list you maintains ? --FlyAkwa (talk) 11:00, 1 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I generally support, but I think there are too many lines, esp in China, it plans to build over 100 sections of HSR. I don't even remember the names. Besides the page, I think maybe its time to zoom out the Asian map a little bit. Lanzhou-Urumqi section is going to open in this year. Prepare earlier may cause less work load. Anyway, that is not urgent. Just giving some ideas.--Owennson (talk) 12:15, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well, sorry to bother you again, update of the east asia HSR map is needed again (China is crazy).

  • Jiayuguan instead of Jaiyuguan.
  • Nanning - Wuzhou 200, Wuzhou - Guangzhou u/c.
  • Yichang - Lichuan (midpoint of Yichang and Chongqing) is 160, not 200. Sorry about that.
  • Haikou - Sanya "West" Ring u/c.
  • Taiyuan - Xi'an 200.
  • Qingdao - Yantai - Weihai - Rongcheng (tip of Shandong Peninsula) u/c.
  • Nanchang - Fuzhou 200.
  • Jilin - Hunchun (tripoint of China, Russia and North Korea) u/c.
  • Shenyang - Dandong u/c.
  • Dalian - Dandong u/c.
  • Wuhan - Huangshi (midpoint of Wuhan and Jiujiang) 300.
  • Nanjing - Anqing (midpoint of Nanjing - Jiujiang) u/c.
  • new direct Chengdu - Chongqing u/c.
  • Chongqing - Wanzhou (NE relative to Chongqing) u/c.
  • Longyan (NW relative to Xiamen) - Xiamen 200.
  • Lanzhou - Chongqing u/c.
  • Lanzhou - Chengdu u/c.
  • Chongqing - Guiyang u/c.
  • Nanning - coastline (2 branches and main line) all 200.
  • In Japan, Kanazawa - Tsuruga (North to Maibara) u/c.

Please help to update. Thanks! --Owennson (talk) 14:42, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Owennson. Good work your table setup of all lines. We still must create a "list of high-speed lines" page in Wikipedia.
I updated the map. But the lines :
* Lanzhou - Chongqing u/c.
* Lanzhou - Chengdu u/c.
* Nanning - coastline (2 branches and main line) all 200.
The first two, Lanzhou was not found. For the last, I don't know where are the 2 branches.
See you soon. --FlyAkwa (talk) 13:35, 24 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Lanzhou is at the north-west of China, the capital city of Gansu. The lines near Nanning is Nanning-Qinzhou, Qinzhou-Fangchenggang and Qinzhou-Beihai. These cities are so small that it could be only found in Google. Thanks!--Owennson (talk) 01:53, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Done ! Please confirm that the new map is now Ok :) --FlyAkwa (talk) 11:17, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The map is well done! Also, I started a List of high-speed rail lines page, hope you may improve it. Thanks! :) --Owennson (talk) 17:44, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, it's me again and this time, China opened some more new high-speed lines. 300 km/h:

  • Hangzhou - Changsha - Xinhuang(near Huihua)

200 km/h:

  • Jiangyou(north of Chengdu) - Chengdu - Emei(south of Chengdu)
  • Guizhou - Guangzhou
  • Lanzhou - Urumqi
  • Qingdao - Yantai - Rongcheng (line mentioned last time)
  • Zhengzhou - Kaifeng(east of Zhengzhou)
  • Nanning - Guangzhou full line

Thank you. This time it's quite frustrating to update because they open by sections. It would take me longer time to update the others. Please update of the east asia HSR map. Thanks! --Owennson (talk) 03:50, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Owennson. Thanks. I will try to do that ! --FlyAkwa (talk) 21:42, 24 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Owennson. For the line "Jiangyou(north of Chengdu) - Chengdu - Emei(south of Chengdu)", is this a raise of speed of the classic old line, or a frame of a new line (what new line then ?).
There is already a 200 km/h line between Zhengzhou and Xuzhou... I avoid to duplicate lines, even if there is really two lines together.
Voilà, I updated the map. Please confirm it's correct. Thanks --FlyAkwa (talk) 22:19, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Jiangyou - Chengdu - Emei is a new line, intercity railway standard. By the way, the Seoul - Gwangju line in South Korea has opened recently, with highest speed 350 km/h. --Owennson (talk) 06:57, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Owennson. As for China, maximal supported speed is not operated speed, and as far as I know, tains in Korea runs at 305 km/h. The KTX page show that maximum speed is 350 (as in Chine and France) but operated speed is 305 km/h. Then the line will be in red on the map. Thanks for your help on this map, as usual :) --FlyAkwa (talk) 07:35, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry that I always forger this and that. The Hokuriku Shinkansen (Nagano - Kanazawa section) has opened in Japan, same speed as the existing section. Thanks!--Owennson (talk) 09:46, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New lines again.

  • ✓ Done Nanjing-Anqing Railway - 200 km/h. Btw Anqing is around the 3/4 way from Nanjing to Jiujiang in Jiangxi Province. There is an intersect with the Hefei-Fuzhou railway.
  • ✓ Done Dandong-Dalian Railway in Liaoning Province - 200 km/h.
  • ✓ Done Tianjin-Baoding (touched the Beijing-Shijiazhuang) - 200 km/h
  • ✓ Done direct Chengdu-Chongqing - 300 km/h.
  • ✓ Done Xi'an-Yan'an (route in Shaanxi Province) - 200 km/h, even though that is a new line, HST runs very lately.
  • ✓ Done Hainan West Ring Railway - 200 km/h.
  • Baotao-Jining - 200 km/h.
  • ✓ DoneNanning (in Guangxi Province)-Baise/Bose (around 1/3 towards Kunming) - 200 km/h.
  • ✓ Done Guangyuan (slightly south of Yangpingguan)-Chongqing - 200 km/h. That is part of the Lanzhou-Chongqing line.
  • ✓ DoneGanzhou (touched the Beijing-Shenzhen line, that line running east of Beijing-Guangzhou)-Longyan line (the place northwest of Xiamen and there are a line towards Xiamen) - 200 km/h <--This one is hard to explain.
  • ✓ DoneHuangshi-Jiujiang (extension of Wuhan-Xianning) - u/c
  • ✓ DoneBeijing-Hohhot - u/c
  • ✓ DoneBeijing-Shenyang direct route - u/c
  • ✓ DoneHarbin-Jiamusi - u/c
  • ✓ DoneHarbin-Mudanjiang - u/c

I hope I didn't miss anything.--owennsonMeeting Room聊天室Certificates獎座櫃04:36, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi owennson. Happy New Year. Done for majority of lines. Some questions :
  • Not found : Baotao-Jining - 200 km/h.
  • Yangpingguan : mistake, replaced by Guangyuan. Yangpingguan is a little village near Suining.
  • Beijing-Hohhot : is it running by Datong ?
Regards. --FlyAkwa (talk) 00:36, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Btw, the new Beijing - Hohhot is via Jining/Ulanqab, which means there is a repeat between Jining - Hohhot. These days I'm very busy and may not update that page very frequently. --owennsonMeeting Room聊天室Certificates獎座櫃13:06, 30 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello FlyAkwa.I Just want to request some minor corrections on this image.

The maximum speed of the following lines should be 250km/h, not 200km/h:

  • Shenyang-Dandong
  • Qiqihar-Harbin
  • Guiyang-Guangzhou
  • Jiangyou(north of Chengdu)-Chengdu-Emei(south of Chengdu)

Thank you for reading my message and your help would be very much appreciated.--Bdrombdrom (talk) 06:52, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Bdrobdrom. It appears that some lines you mentionned are still marked as 200km/h limited on the List of high-speed railay lines :
  • Shendan PDL Shenyang South - Dandong 200 km/h (250 km/h ready) September 1, 2015 208 km
  • Haqi PDL Harbin - Qiqihar South 200 km/h (250 km/h ready) August 17, 2015 281.5 km
  • Chengmianle PDL Jiangyou - Emeishan 200 km/h (250 km/h ready) December 20, 2014
But indeed :
  • ✓ Done Guiguang PDL Guiyang North - Guangzhou South 250 km/h (250 km/h ready) December 26, 2014
If the page List of high-speed railay lines is wrong, please contact owennson who compiles datas and maintains the Chinese part of the page. Thanks.
--FlyAkwa (talk) 23:47, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
HI FlyAkwa.I have carefully rechecked the details of the lines (by reading chinese news and riding records of chinese train fans) and can verify that except for Chengmianle PDL all the other lines i mentioned before are indeed running at 250km/h.So the page List of high-speed railay lines indeed contained some wrong informations, and now i have also corrected them.
Let me state the speeds of the lines here one more time:
  • Shenyang-Dandong 250 km/h (250 km/h ready)
  • Qiqihar-Harbin 250 km/h (300 km/h ready)
  • Guiyang-Guangzhou 250 km/h (300 km/h ready)
  • Jiangyou(north of Chengdu)-Chengdu-Emei(south of Chengdu) 200 km/h (250 km/h ready)
Thank you once again for your help!--Bdrombdrom (talk) 01:24, 20 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Bdrombdrom, I updated the map with your new speeds :
  • ✓ Done Shenyang-Dandong 250 km/h (250 km/h ready)
  • ✓ Done Qiqihar-Harbin 250 km/h (300 km/h ready)
  • ✓ Done Guiyang-Guangzhou 250 km/h (300 km/h ready)
  • No change Jiangyou(north of Chengdu)-Chengdu-Emei(south of Chengdu) 200 km/h (250 km/h ready)
Regards. --FlyAkwa (talk) 13:21, 24 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hokkaido

[edit]

Hi, it's me again. In Japan, en:Hokkaido Shinkansen first section has inaugurated, extending from Aomori to Hakodate, with the speed...er... the page would tell you. It's complicated. Btw, it looks like you misunderstood Gangzhou as Guangzhou, it's different. That Xiamen (Amoy) - Longyan - Gangzhou is a smooth curve line--owennsonMeeting Room聊天室Certificates獎座櫃05:38, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Owensson ! Done for Hokkaido. I didn't understand about Gangzhou / Guangzhou. --FlyAkwa (talk) 17:08, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I mean Hokkaido Shinkansen is 260 km/h for new section and 140 km/h for old section, just like the Channel Tunnel. Also, Gangzhou is in Jianxi Province while Guangzhou is in Guangdong Province. It looks like the Longyan - Guangzhou was colored yellow but not Longyan - Gangzhou.--owennsonMeeting Room聊天室Certificates獎座櫃10:38, 1 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hello ! The Hokkaido_Shinkansen page give "320 km/h" for the section, and 140 km/h for the tunnel. Our List_of_high-speed_railway_lines give 260 km/h. What is true ? I put all the line section in red... If it's 260, I must put it in orange, if it's 320, I must put it in violet... --FlyAkwa (talk) 12:48, 1 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the one by section is correct. And thank you for pointing out a mistake on the en:Hokkaido Shinkansen page.--owennsonMeeting Room聊天室Certificates獎座櫃07:29, 3 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

2016 CRH update

[edit]

New update:

  • Zhengzhou, Henan - Xuchou, Jiangsu 300 km/h
  • Chongqing - Wanzhou 200 km/h
  • Kunming, Yunan - Guiyang, Guizhou 200 km/h
  • Kunming, Yunan - Nanning, Guangxi (fully open) 200 km/h

Although there are some 200/250 and 300/350 argument (whether the speed is, debatable), I will just use a lower speed. Thanks a lot.--owennsonMeeting Room聊天室Certificates獎座櫃08:49, 27 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi owennson ! Done ! Happy new year ! --FlyAkwa (talk) 12:19, 27 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, a new single update: Lanzhou - Baoji is connected by 200(I think its possible to be 250? not so sure)km/h line. After that, HSR can run all the way from Xinjiang to the east of China. Again, the speed of HSR in China is weird.--owennsonMeeting Room聊天室Certificates獎座櫃14:24, 12 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
