Simmler's pating
[edit]Hello!
I know author and wembaster of Pinakoteka web site, we emailed each other for some time. I know that those are not photographs either: they come from books too :) In Pinakoteka pictures often look "better", but I noticed that colors are different (more flashy) compared to photos published in other sources. My goal is to make scans look as in book. Large resolution files also suffer from scaling algorithm, because MediaWiki software by default does not apply sharpness effect after scalling.
