[edit]Hello. Thanks for your contribution, but please, do not override existing files. Upload your file into another name. ~ bayo or talk 21:43, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- It's not a different image though, just a touched up one. Ffgamera (talk) 22:07, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- It is an altered version, not the original photo. Must i revert that file before or after you upload the image into another name? ~ bayo or talk 11:10, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
- I've taken the liberty of reverting the original picture File:PS2Slim.JPG and reuploading the picture to File:PS2- Both original and slim.png. Ffgamera (talk) 21:51, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Overwriting others' files
[edit]Similar to the #File:PS2Slim.JPG issue above, I reverted your changes to File:Isomerism.svg. What you created has lots more detail and reduces the focus on some of the most basic stereochemical distinctions compared to the previous (and is confusingly organized...a hierarchy should go distinctly in one direction not wrap up and down and around!), so each might be useful in different contexts. In general, best not to replace someone else's work unless you are just making trivial improvements (spacing, transparency, etc.). If the content is noticeably different, can always COM:DR, or keep both because if the content is different they may both be differently educationally useful. DMacks (talk) 17:01, 4 July 2013 (UTC)
- The image you reverted back to was nicer than my original image but completely wrong. It is not up to date and implies that all cis/trans isomers are diastereomers. This is incorrect. Alkenyl cis/trans isomers are structural isomers which are better known as E/Z isomers since cis and trans only implies relative and not absolute stereochemistry. Cyclic cis/trans isomers can however be diastereomer/enantiomer pairs. Furthermore, conformers and rotamers are not technically diastereomers. Only locked conformational isomers are diastereomers. I've cleaned up the image I used so it should be ready to go now :) Ffgamera (talk) 00:46, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
