I just saw you want to use this image at Wikipedia, but unfortunately you can't! This image have copyright and we don't if it's license is compatible with Commons:Licensing. If you know who's the author of this image you should ask him permission to use it under some license accept here. But answering your question there. You can use any image by simpling using this code number of pixels|thumb|position (left, center or right)|description Mizunoryu 大熊猫❤小熊猫 (talk) 03:40, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Welcome, but ...
[edit]Welcome to Commons. I see that two of your images have already been deleted as copyright violations. Please don't upload images that you find on the web, as they are almost always copyright-protected. Before uploading any more, please read COM:CB and COM:PS for details of what is and is not allowed here. Your block on the English Wikipedia will not in itself prevent you helping out here, but please be aware that any continuation of what you were doing there will find you blocked here pretty quickly as well. If you need any help, please ask on my talk page, Regards, --MichaelMaggs (talk) 11:18, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Tip: Categorizing images
[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.BotMultichillT 05:50, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Any chance you could point me to the "duplicate", the link you provided was dead? SVGs are completely different from GIFs, they can be scaled to any resolution without losing resolution. Connormah (talk | contribs) 20:49, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
I had accidently nominated it for deletion without thinking twice. Please forgive me. Fangusu (talk) 02:01, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
