Hi! I notice that you are very productive and maybe it is necessary to be very brief. But the banner that you have put here is not applicable. There are two criteria: (1) No license information. (2) No source. In these cases there is no license but there IS a clear source. And the source clearly specifies a license that is accepted in Commons. In the future, please try to be more helpful to people who try to contribute. It is a very important problem for the Wikipedia movement that people are put off by unwellcoming behaviour by experienced contributors. --Ettrig (talk) 08:02, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, well, the uploader is reponsible to apply valid license templates to the file description pages. And license templates were completly missing on these pages. You corrected that now, the license is valid and the problem is solved. As background info: There are about 200 images or more a day uploaded without a licence template. As it seems I am the only one systematicly searching such images I have to be effectiv doing it. So I use a tool called VisualFileChange which gives me thumbnails and some basic informations of all images within i.e. Category:Media uploaded without a license as of 2013-07. There I can unmark all images which allready have a problem tag. I then have a brief look through th images if I can find some with allready a license and the rest will be marked and all uploaders will be imformed automaticly by "a few clicks". Otherwise I would spend many hours a day to open all those image description files and mark them manually. Another thing is the "learning effect" for new users. If I would just have followed the source link and corrected th license accordingly, you would possibly upload your next files without a license again. Now you (hopefully) are aware of that and will asure that a valid license will be applied yourself, and nobody else is required to clean up behind you. regards --JuTa 18:40, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
