Autopatrol given
[edit]Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. —Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 00:08, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
Looking for info on the origin of this picture
[edit]Hiii, I somehow feel very connected to this portrait of Pánfilo de Narváez that is in his wiki. I see that you're the person that has uploaded the latest version and since you have been active recently I thought that you may be able to tell me where you got the image from. I'm talking about this black and white portrait that is the main image of this article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C3%A1nfilo_de_Narv%C3%A1ez I don't know if this is the best way for me to get this info, I'm not familiar with how Wikipedia works exactly. I hope you see this and you have a great day! Otojastrząb (talk) 15:28, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hi! The source of this picture, if I recall correctly, came from this website run by the National Autonomous University of Mexico: https://www.noticonquista.unam.mx/index.php/imagen-popup/390. According to the site, the picture is from the State Library and Archives of Florida. I'm not aware of the document or full illustration the picture is originally from, but this is where I got the picture from and I can confirm it is in the public domain. Hope this helps!
