Salut,

J'ai mis le temps et je ne suis pas totalement satisfait du résultat (il faudra y retourner avec un trépied et quand les filets seront retirés, les photos prises en obliques ne donnant rien) mais j'ai (finalement) importé les photos des clefs de voutes de l'église Saint-Malo que j'ai placé dans la catégorie . N'hésite pas à compléter les descriptions et les catégories (ping Fab5669 au passage Clin).

Saint Turiau est-il le même que Saint Uriac

Bonjour, j'ai vu que tu avais complété les catégories sur les fichiers de photos de vitrail que j'avais téléchargé pour l'église de Corseul. Saint Turiau est-il un autre nom pour Saint Uriac ? Si oui, où se trouve cette information ?

Il est extrêmement difficile de se faire une opinion sur la concordance des différentes graphies de nos saints armoricains. En l'occurrence, pour ce cas-ci, je te propose de sources qui identifient Uriac à Turiau, l'évêque de Dol du VIIe siècle. Tout d'abord, l'article Corseul d'infobretagne énonce "l'ancienne chapelle de Saint-Uriac, située jadis près de la tour du Haut-Bécherel et aujourd'hui disparue. La chapelle de Saint-Thuriau (Saint-Uriac) sise au Haut-Bécherel, appartenait jadis aux moines de Léhon et des titres nous montrent qu'elle existait dès la fin du XIIème siècle (abbé Auguste Lemasson). Transformée au milieu du XIXème siècle en maison d’habitation ; la fontaine Saint-Thuriau subsiste". Ensuite, l'institut culturel de Bretagne propose "Natif du Poutrocoët, Turiau est éduqué au monastère de Dol où ses aptitudes au chant liturgique le font distinguer par l’évêque Tlernmaël. Il succède à celui-ci et se consacre à l’évangélisation de son pays natal. Le prieuré de Saint-Magloire de Léhon détenait au XIIe siècle une chapelle dédiée à saint Turiau à Corseul, dont la source de Saint-Uriac conserve aujourd’hui le souvenir." Il semble toutefois que cet Uriac ne soit apparu qu'à Corseul : identification tardive à Turiau, déformation prononcée du nom du saint originel ?
