Category:Photographs by Elena Ternovaja-Mineralien

Hallo Elena Ternovaja, erstmal vielen Dank für Deine vielen schönen Mineralbilder, die Du bei der Fotoaktion in der Mineralogia München erstellt hast. Dazu habe ich allerdings eine Frage: Für die Bilder hast Du eine Extra-Kategorie Category:Photographs by Elena Ternovaja-Mineralien angelegt, was auch völlig ok wäre. Gleichzeitig sind die Bilder aber auch in der Hauptkategorie Category:Fotoaktion Mineralien München 2023 kategorisiert, das heißt unnötig doppelt.
Nun gäbe es zwei Möglichkeiten, um diese Doppelkategorisierung aufzulösen. Entweder wir entfernen die die Unterkategorie bei den Bildern und löschen die Kategorie oder wir verschieben die Kategorie und machen eine unabhängige Benutzerkategorie daraus, ähnlich wie die Category:Files by User:Ra'ike from de.wikipedia bei mir. @Ra'ike: Danke für den Hinweis! Ich habe die Unterkategorien auf Elenas Wunsch hin angelegt. Die verborgene Kategorie Category:Photographs by Elena Ternovaja existiert bereits, dazu ist diese Kategorie eine Unterkategorie und mithin verborgen. Elena wollte diese gerne ausdifferenzieren nach Personenporträts, dem Beuro-Art-Projekt und den Mineralien, um so eine Art übersichtliches Portfolio ihrer eigenen Arbeiten anzulegen. Eine unnötige Doppelkategorisierung kann ich hier nicht erkennen, da es nicht Unterkategorien derselben Oberkategorie sind, sondern Kategorien, die die Bilder unterschiedlich ausdifferenzieren und aufrufbar machen, so dass es sich ergänzende Kategorien sind. Die Kategorie Category:Fotoaktion Mineralien München 2023 listet ja die Bilder aller Fotografierenden der Aktion. Da die personalisierte Mineralien-Kategorie verborgen ist, verstehe ich im Moment Dein Anliegen auch noch nicht so ganz, bin aber sehr dankbar, hier etwas dazu zu lernen! (BK) Hallo Grizma, die Benutzerkategorie "Photographs by Elena Ternovaja" auszudifferenzieren ist ja völlig ok, aber Benutzerkategorien sollten nicht auch noch mit Dateikategorien vermengt werden. Die Bilder gleichzeitig in die "Category:Fotoaktion Mineralien München 2023" und in die Unterkategorie "Category:Photographs by Elena Ternovaja-Mineralien" zu setzen ist einfach nur doppelt gemoppelt und sowas wird meiner Erfahrung nach üblicherweise aufgelöst.

Entsprechend habe ich die "Category:Photographs by Elena Ternovaja-Mineralien" jetzt in eine Benutzer-Kategorie umgewandelt. Diesbezüglich auch Danke für den Hinweis, dass es die "Category:Photographs by Elena Ternovaja" schon gab. Dort konnte ich die nötigen user tags dann einfach kopieren. @Ra'ike: Also so, wie es jetzt ist, als User-Kategorie passt es, und dann sind beide Kategorien anwendbar? Ich verstehe Dein Anliegen immer noch nicht, muss ich gestehen. @Grizma: So wie es jetzt in den Bildern von Elena Ternovaja kategorisiert ist, ist es in Ordnung und so mache ich es auch schon seit Jahren. Nimm als Beispiel eines meiner letzten Uploads File:Hedenbergite (GeoMuseum Cologne).JPG. Es ist gleichzeitig in den Dateikategorien Category:Hedenbergite und Category:GeoMuseum sowie in der Userkategorie Category:Files by User:Ra'ike from de.wikipedia und kein Bereich stört den anderen.

Du kannst aber gerne auch DerHexer ansprechen oder wir pingen ihn einfach an ;-) Würde mich auch interessieren, was er dazu meint. Viele Grüße -- Ra'ike T C 12:04, 27 March 2023 (UTC)

Das mit der Doppelkategorisierung ist auch mir nicht so 100-%-ig klar. Aber Category:Photographs by Elena Ternovaja-Mineralien ist meines Erachtens ziemlich eindeutig eine Userkategorie und wurde daher so korrekt nun auch bezeichnet. Im vorherigen Zustand wäre die Kategorie äquivalent zu bspw. Category:Photographs by George L. Beam, der als Fotograf selbst Wikipedia-relevant ist mit eigenem Artikel w:de:George Lytle Beam und dem die Fotos zugeordnet sind. Dies hier sollte ja eine Wartungskategorie sein. Ra'ike, DerHexer: Was ich sehe, ist, dass der Zusatz der User-Category hier den Unterschied in der Hierarchisierung macht und das leuchtet mir ein. Warum die Bilder dann nicht zusätzlich in die Ergebnisliste der Mineralien-Aktion in München dürfen, verstehe ich nicht. Das leuchtet mir einfach nicht ein, denn da gehören sie ja auch rein. Eigentlich hätte ich einfach die ganze Userkategorie da reingepackt und nicht jedes Bild einzeln mit München kategorisiert. Wo habe ich den Knoten im Gehirn? Grizma (talk) 16:22, 27 March 2023 (UTC)

Da ist der Knoten: Sie sind und bleiben in der Category:Fotoaktion Mineralien München 2023. Sie sollten nur nicht auch noch in einer anderen inhaltlichen Kategorie (= doppelt sein). Einfach passt. ;) Grüße, —DerHexer (Talk) 16:25, 27 March 2023 (UTC)

Hmm, DerHexers letzte Erklärung macht das inzwischen gelöste Problem eigentlich deutlich. Ich hatte auch das Gefühl, dass wir aneinander vorbeireden bzw. ich die Problematik nicht mit den richtigen Worten ausdrücken konnte und es deshalb so große Verständnisprobleme gibt. Vielleicht wird es mit einer kleinen Grafik ja noch deutlicher:

Kategorie A

|-- Unterkategorie B

Dateien sollen grundsätzlich entweder in der Kategorie A oder der Unterkategorie B stehen. Elena Ternovajas Bilder waren aber gleichzeitig in beiden Kategorien A und B. Das versteht man unter einer unnötigen (und streng genommen unerwünschten) Doppelkategorisierung. Daher mein Vorschlag, die Unterkategorie B (Photographs by Elena Ternovaja) aufzulösen oder sie, wie inzwischen geschehen, in eine unabhängige User-Kategorie umzuwandeln und sie von der Oberkategorie A (Fotoaktion Mineralien München 2023) zu lösen.

In beiden Fällen bleiben die Bilder in der gewünschten Kategorie A einsortiert, weil sie vorher auch schon dort drin waren und das nicht geändert wurde.

Category:Fotoaktion Mineralien München 2023 gehört zum München Projekt. Ich bin Projektteilnehmer. Ich möchte außerdem aber meine Mineralien Bilder extra in meinem Commons Portfolio haben. Ich glaube, wenn meine Unterkategorie nicht mehr auf der Projektseite erscheinten wird, würde es in Ordnung sein, dass ich in meinem Commons Portfolio eine Unterkategorie habe. Ra'ike: Ich glaube, ich verstehe Deine Erklärung nicht, weil Du nicht klarmachst, ob Du über das einzelne Foto oder über die User-Unterkategorie sprichst. Ich glaube nun verstanden zu haben, dass das einzelne Bild mit der User-Unterkategorie “Photographs by Elena Ternovaja-Mineralien” UND mit der “Fotoaktion Mineralien München 2023“ kategorisiert werden darf, da Letzteres eine inhaltliche und ersteres eine Userkategorie ist, die auf unterschiedlichen Ebenen funktionieren und sich nicht in den Kram pfuschen. Jedoch NICHT die User-Unterkategorie “Photographs by Elena Ternovaja-Mineralien” als solche in der Oberkategorie “Fotoaktion Mineralien München 2023“ liegen darf. Was theoretisch ja Mühe spart, weil nicht jedes einzelne Bild kategorisiert werden müsste. Da es jedoch keine inhaltliche Kategorie ist, hat es da nix zu suchen. Also im Prinzip so wie es jetzt ist und an diesem Status muss nun nichts geändert werden. Habe ich das richtig verstanden? Wenn ich es immer noch nicht verstanden habe: egal, ich frag den Hexer nochmal beim nächsten Treffen. ;D Was mich wundert ist das Thema der Doppelkategorisierung, das Du nochmals ansprachst. Natürlich ergibt das keinen Sinn, wenn sowohl die User-Unterkategorie als auch das einzelne Bild mit München gelabelt sind; das muss ich ihr nochmal erklären. Wäre es denn theoretisch möglich, das Einzelbild NICHT mit der Fotoaktion München zu labeln, sondern am Ende einfach alle Bilder der User-Unterkategorie von Elena in die München-Kategorie zu schieben? So dass in der München-Kategorie nur die User-Unterkategorie mit allen Bildern liegt? Das war ja meine urspüngliche Idee. Great photographs

Dear Elena, Thank you for your really great photographs. Nice portrayals of writers, filmers and others. Extremely helpful, certainly the photographs of the less known artists. Your (currently) 812 photographs are now used 2,378 times, and counting - once in mrj.wikipedia.org up till 508 times in the German language Wikipedia. Keep up the good work! Hinweis zur Teilnahme an WikiDaheim

Hallo Elena Ternovaja, danke für dein Bild Florian Bades, 2024.jpg (681 × 984) zu unserem Fotowettbewerb WikiDaheim. Obwohl das Bild generell nützlich sein kann, erfüllt es nicht die Anforderung der Mindestgröße von 2 Megapixel (siehe Regeln) für unseren Fotowettbewerb. Es wird daher nicht bewertet werden.

Falls du noch eine Version desselben Bildes mit mehr als 2 Megapixeln hast, kannst du das Problem beheben, indem du diese als neue Version über das existierende Bild mit dem Link neue Version von Florian Bades, 2024.jpg hochladen drüberladest.
