hi, I'd like to point out that there are at least two mistakes: de:User:Schlendrian is admin at de:WP (and author of a number of I cannot count that far-number of featured articles;-)), so I'm quite sure he has more edits there;-) Also, de:User:Wladyslaw Sojka (also author of several featured articles and organizing the Featured Pictures Vote at de:WP)certainly has more edits on de:WP than at Commons. I haven't checked the other users but I'm quite sure there are more mistakes. Maybe the problem is that de:Benutzer:Schlendrian was renamed to de:Benutzer:Florian Adler at de-wp but apparently not at Commons. --AFBorchert (talk) 13:39, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Please see this comment. Also, as the note above the data says, the numbers are based on the SUL util count. This tool does not, among others, count admin actions or identify all edits from users who have not unified their accounts or who edit under different names. Wladyslaw Sojka, for example, is not unified (thus SUL util identifies, as reflected by the data, more edits to the Commons than de.wiki). The issues brought up by the IP aren't mistakes, they're (acknowledged) limitations of SUL util. The limitations, however, do not appear to meaningfully impact the general trend of the data and have no impact on the (much more interesting) measurement of the user's language, a variable not obtained from SUL util.
