[edit]HI. Thx for intresting image. Please add more description about algorithm , maybe source code and also add category. Regards. --Adam majewski (talk) 19:21, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for the interest. I am in the middle of cleaning up my code and determining just how my method works in the simplest manner. I will post the code as soon as it is ready though. Jordan Pierce (talk) 03:13, 16 February 2012 (UTC)

Many thanks for your excellent figure! I'm developing a short course for high school students and your's is the largest and clearest diagram I have founds. Have you available even larger plots of the region after 3.4 etc.? I would pay for a wall sized diagram. Also have you considered plots for the Canonical form of the Logistic map?
Set Xi = ½ - Ti/R
The logistic equation becomes,
½ - Ti+1/R = R(½ - Ti/R) ( ½ + Ti/R) = R(1/4 – (Ti/R)2
(Ti+2)↑2 = (Ti+1) + a a = R(R-2)/4I find this an intriguing form - the special values such as R = 1+ sgr(6_) lead to a= 5/4. Many thanks again.

Logistic Bifurcation map High Resolution
[edit]I’m curious how you made the high resolution version of this image. I am able to make a similar image of dots but unless I increase the number of points to a ridiculous number it does not look as good as yours. Messy code is fine I can figure it out. Thanks! Perhaps 2.5 years late is not too bad!! Sorry -- but I've updated the description to include the algorithm I used. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Efecretion (talk • contribs) 21:30, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
