Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

He añadido una nueva versión, cambiando la parada "Séptimo Arte" por su nombre real, sentido Gran Vía: "La Ventana Indiscreta" y sentido Valdespartera: "Los Pájaros"

Cuando la he subido en commons me ha aparecido la imagen con rectángulo negro en vez del texto que he puesto, aunque cuando la modifico en Inkscape me aparece el texto bien. No se si lo podrás arreglar. --Robot8A (talk) 15:43, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Pues no, tal como Zapatero no es el titular de los derechos del logo del gobierno español. Hola, he visto que me has eliminado dos imágenes, correspondientes a los logotipos de metrobilbao y euskotren, y no he entendido qué es lo que se me pide, son imágenes de geometría simple creadas por mí... Entiendo lo que me dices, pero he visto otras imágenes en wikipedia (por poner un ejemplo, el logo de renfe) que están hechas de la misma forma, imagino, y ahí siguen... son también candidatas a ser borradas? Transcripción de nombres en Mapa de Termópilas y Artemision

Hola, Ecelan. He visto tu traducción del mapa Termópilas_y_Artemisio_-_es.svg. Hay un error importante: donde dice "Focea" debe decir "Fócide". Además debería decir "Escíatos" (transcripción española) en lugar de "Skiathos" (transcripción inglesa), por más que esté así en la Wiki española. Por último hay una errata en "Estrecho de Art[e]misio", donde falta la [e]. Creo que estas modificaciones sólo las puedes hacer tú porque es tu archivo.
