Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Renaming requests

Hey there,

Just as a friendly tip, for cases like File:Psi1 Draconis.jpg, it may be better to simply use criterion #1, "at request of the original uploader." The other criteria require that the admin or filemover be able to identify why the new name is better, and that's sometimes difficult on a multilingual project, especially when the helpful volunteer is reviewing many requests over a short time in order to clear a backlog. For #1, as long as the upload was relatively recent (not seven years old or something), it's basically a no-brainer. Not sure how often this will come up, but if it does, hopefully it'll make things a bit easier for you. –Juliancolton | ^Talk 21:46, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
