Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Hallo Drahtlos, ich wollte nur mal schnell Danke sagen für deine Kategorisierungen zu den ICs, vor allem den osteuropäischen, die mir überhaupt nicht geläufig sind, so dass ich sie damals beim Hochladen leider nicht besser einordnen konnte. Raymond 13:32, 28 April 2017 (UTC)

Hallo Drahtlos, ich sehe gerade, dass du die Dateien aus Category:744053 und anderen verschiebst auf Category:4053 (CMOS) etc. Danke dafür. Mir war nicht klar, dass dies richtiger ist. Was hältst du davon, wenn wir eine Weiterleitung anlegen, so dass der Irrtum automatisch von einem Bot aufgeräumt wird? Raymond 16:30, 29 July 2019 (UTC)

@Raymond: Ich weiss leider nicht, wie man eine Weiterleitung so anlegt, dass ein Bot dann aufräumt - habe aber natürlich nichts dagegen.

So Category:744053. Diese Art Kategorien werden automatisch von Bots besucht. Brauchst du nichts weiter unternehmen. Raymond 16:44, 29 July 2019 (UTC)

Hallo Drahtlos, schon länger liegen bei mir diverse Steckkarten von Siemens herum: File:Siemens S45035-W5177-A701-0379.jpg, File:Siemens S45035-D5347-A311-0381.jpg und File:Siemens Rel 35 D 667 b1a-0377.jpg. 2 Fragen: Hast du a) eine Ahnung, welche Funktion die Steckkarten mal hatten und b) Detail-Fotowünsche einzelner Bauteile? I am writing to you because we are looking for feedback for a new Wikimedia Foundation project, Structured Data Across Wikimedia (SDAW). SDAW is a grant-funded programme that will explore ways to structure content on wikitext pages in a way that will be machine-recognizable and -relatable, in order to make reading, editing, and searching easier and more accessible across projects and on the Internet. We are now focusing on designing and building image suggestion features for experienced users.

We have some questions to ask you about your experience with uploading images here on Wikimedia Commons and then adding them to Wikipedia. You can answer these questions on a specific feedback page on Mediawiki, where we will gather feedback. As I said, these questions are in English, but your answers do not need to be in English! You can also answer in your own language, if you feel more comfortable.

Once the collecting of feedback will be over, we will sum it up and share with you a summary, along with updated mocks that will incorporate your inputs.

Dear Wikimedian,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2022 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the seventeenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2022) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and the two most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just three images to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 1 will end on 1 May 2023, 23:59:59 UTC.
