Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.) Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Copyright violations
[edit]
Hello Dhowald.
You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful. This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. |

Ok
[edit]Thanks for the mail - we keep communications on wiki so that others may follow it and see what is happening.
You have ignored messages here sadly. However you mail introduces yet another aspect in that you state you work for the company concerned. As such these images are promotional and so outside our scope. Please do not re-create them or you will be blocked from editing. Thanks --Herby talk thyme 12:08, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- Again I would point out that we keep communication on here - it makes it transparent.
- The fact that other things exists is no reason to keep anything I'm afraid. In addition the companies you mention are rather renowned world wise brands. Thanks --Herby talk thyme 12:26, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, I missed the opportunity to answer here directly. I also think, it is very important to keep it transparent. A renowned brand is the criterion? Perfect! Aastra IS a worldwide acting company and well known in the telecommunication business. Therefore I ask you not to operate with double standards. Thank you
- However your approach is essentially promotional here (I did not say that anything was a criterion - I pointed you to something that actually explains why the fact we have some material does not mean we have other material). You are attempting to promote your product in my opinion. Others may differ - we will see. --Herby talk thyme 12:58, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
I'm sorry, but that cannot be reliable. I did not want to promote our products in Wikipedia. Of course, a picture of our terminals could have that effect. OK. But it was not my intention to promote our products here. Believe it or not. As I am myself a frequent Wikipedia user, I'm always glad to get new information and to see also new pictures. But of course, it's up to you.
