Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content). You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki. Files local to Commons
[edit]You have probably noticed that I have updated the descriptions on your recent uploads. The majority of freely licensed or public domain images utilised at Commons are actually from Commons. You will also usually get the highest quality image when utilising Commons. — billinghurst sDrewth 08:00, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, I didn't know how to reply to your note on my page. It also took me a while to find out how to write anything in your talk page :) So as you see I'm really not familiar with how to operate in Wikimedia Commons world. I'm just an artist, spending whole time on drawing and I only wanted to contribute to Commons as I used the portraits from here as references.
- I also didn't notice you made any changes, maybe my notifications are not set correctly but I'm believing in your and other users good intentions and thank you for any good changes you make to the files.
- You probably already noticed that english is not my native language. I'm sorry but I'm not sure I understood what changes you did. Please let me know using some other words if you believe that I should know.
- Thank you -

The edits that I made to the files, was to the descriptions and some categories, nothing major. You had linked to the files at English Wikipedia, and I was relinking to the files here, where they are actually hosted, nothing more. Oh, signing edits on talk pages is expected. — billinghurst sDrewth 10:26, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
