File:Margaret Alva.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

- You have contradicted yourself by applying website rules over GODL-India. Please provide justification for this image and check the website policies here. It is applied GODL-India. Now check the PM image and the same thing GODL-India is applied there. But the website from where the image was taken mentions this policy. Again targeted harassment against me.
- Then also please say why this image is also present. Are you people contradicting yourself or else you don't know where to apply GODL-india and where not?
- You misread the entire paragraph. It clearly says "All copyrights are reserved with the Lok Sabha Secretariat. The material listed may be reproduced without formal permission for the purposes of non-commercial research, private study and for criticism, review and news reporting provided that the material is appropriately attributed." The image uploaded here follows the above line, not the line that comes after. And for the third-line members, portraits are not up for parliament debates and image is not from ancillary publications. So this one "Under Section 2 (k) of the Copyright Act (No. 14 1975), the copyright for the reproduction of any material from the debates and ancillary publications vests with the Lok Sabha Secretariat" doesn't apply here. - @Run n Fly please see above. Debjyoti Gorai (talk) 20:31, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
- PM image is released as per {{GODL-India}} guidelines. Hence passes clearly. Run n Fly (talk) 18:35, 28 July 2022 (UTC)
- But what about this "However, the material has to be reproduced accurately and not to be used in a derogatory manner or in a misleading context" taken from [[1]]. Debjyoti Gorai (talk) 18:38, 28 July 2022 (UTC)
- Its not about copyright. These are direction/instruction for correct usage of the image. Run n Fly (talk) 18:41, 28 July 2022 (UTC)
- If suppose GODL-India didn't existed and the image was published in Commons under the author name "Prime Minister of India" and using this statements "Material featured on this website may be reproduced free of charge." and "Wherever the material is being published or issued to others, the source must be prominently acknowledged." as a reason. Also since the image being part of 1st party therefore this statement "However, the permission to reproduce this material shall not extend to any material which is identified as being copyright of a third party. Authorisation to reproduce such material must be obtained from the department/copyright holder concerned."? Debjyoti Gorai (talk) 19:06, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

You are using someone's history which is also disputed which is a violation. You should use fact. Debjyoti Gorai (talk) 21:36, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
