[edit]Your writing on a casual game company does not excuse you from violating its copyright. By uploading them here and displaying them without the company's permission, the company is eligible to act on their rights. Commons does not allow "fair-use". All contents here must be "free" by the item's falling into public domain or the owners' releasing of their copyrights. If you are indeed the company's employee, either get them to state on the website that all images are freely available to anyone to use for whatever purposes under GFDL or the appropriate Creative Commons license, or write a letter to the administration of Commons and expressly allow those screenshots to be used for all purposes. Jappalang (talk) 09:28, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- To clarify - please see COM:OTRS (and COM:L) for what we need. If Playrix is willing to release the screenshots under a free license, then they should send a message stating that to OTRS (use the email template); once the permission is confirmed, the images can be undeleted and tagged as being okay. --dave pape (talk) 16:04, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Copyright violations
[edit]
Hello Dashakob,
You have uploaded several images that are copyright violations and you have done so despite our requests not to do so, and despite our instructions. If you do not stop uploading pictures that are not free, your account will be blocked. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Image casebook useful. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. --Túrelio (talk) 07:30, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
Uploading images with permission
[edit]Hi, if you have sent a letter of permission to the administration, you can start uploading images through the "It is entirely my own work" option. In the Permission field, enter "{{OTRS pending}}" (without the quotation marks) and select the appropriate license in Licensing.
Before you do so, I have to explicitly warn you that if you release the images under public domain, your company would lose the rights to prosecute anyone who uses the images for any purpose. If you license the images under the GFDL or Creative Commons, the other party has to credit your company but they still can use the images for any purpose. Please think before you upload those images, does your company wish to do that? If yes, please proceed. If not, I advise to abandon the motion of uploading those images. Once those images are uploaded here and the letter of permission is validated, the permission to release those images for any use cannot be revoked. Jappalang (talk) 22:17, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- Dashakob, the files you have previously uploaded on the 20th and 21st have already been deleted. You would need to upload them again with the appropriate fields. You must realize that even though your company has put up the screenshots on their site, as they have not declared them to be "free", your company reserves the right to sue anyone who uses the images in such a manner that violates their copyright. However, once those images are officially declared to be "free", your company loses the rights to do so for those images. Jappalang (talk) 09:05, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Please link images
[edit]
Hello Dashakob!
Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Please keep in mind that images uploaded to Commons should be useful to all users of Wikimedia projects. This is possible only if the images can be found by other people.
To allow others to find the images you uploaded here, the images should be in some place that can be found by navigating the category structure. This means that you should put the images into appropriate topic pages, categories, optionally galleries, or both of them (see Commons:Categories). To find good categories for your images, the CommonSense tool may help.
You can find a convenient overview of your uploaded files in this gallery.
The important point is that the images should be placed in the general structure somewhere. There are a large number of completely unsorted images on Commons right now. If you would like to help to place some of those images where they can be found, please do!
Thank you. BotMultichillT (talk) 17:12, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Hi Dashakob,
you claim all the images you have uploaded as "It is entirely my own work", whereas they are all located on a playrix-company server. Could you please explain? --Túrelio (talk) 11:20, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
