Nazi Copyrights

[edit]

Re [1], I wouldn't be surprized if under U.S. federal law it would be illegal or even criminal to honor Nazi, Al-Qaeda, and Viet Cong copyrights... Crzrussian 20:21, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but that is nonesense. Winners of war often were entitled to "steal" copyrights and patents like Aspirin. But it is not criminal to honor Nazi copyrights. --ALE! ¿…? 07:29, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Crzrussian! Stumbling up here because of this Nazi copyright question... And I see that ALE! has deleted, under same reasons, something which clearly nobody can claim copyright for, although on the other specter of politics: see [2]. Would be glad to know your opinion on it (it was a nice poster, but shamefully anonymous, so we can't look for the author of the work, who probably died in the war anyway...) Cheers!
That file was deleted because nobody could proof that it was free of copyright. Period. --ALE! ¿…? 06:53, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
