Welcome to Wikimedia Commons, Crimson Cherry Blossom!

Hi Crimson Cherry Blossom,
as File:Gösta Sundqvist.jpg is used on several pages, can't you first upload the better version you announced in your speedy-request? --Túrelio (talk) 12:55, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have a scanner, but my friend has. I'm not sure when I will visit at his house next time but cause the picture is so poor I hope it will be deleted before I upload better version. =) Crimson Cherry Blossom (talk) 04:38, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The reason for not instantly deleting it, was that it is used on 2 pages of :fi. Of course, you could record these 2 uses and, after uploading the new version, restore them. --Túrelio (talk) 05:54, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
@Crimson Cherry Blossom: You mention photographing/scanning this image. Yet you also claim to have the right to release it under the public domain as "Crimson Cherry Blossom". Which makes me doubt that you are the author of the image, and what the copyright status is of it. Where does the image come from ? How old ? Who is the author of that ? –Krinkletalk 12:42, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have panted it. I finished it in August 30th. Crimson Cherry Blossom (talk) 17:38, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What are you talking about? I'm the creator of that paint, I used template {{PD-self}}, like these: 1,

2, 3. What's the problem? Crimson Cherry Blossom (talk) 22:20, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I said it already on my talkpage. This work is not ENTIRELY created by yourself but a derivative work based on soemone else work. Without this person, the photgrapher, your work will be different, it will be zero, it would not have been able to create it. So you have to provide a source for the original work and its photographer and you have to make sure that the original authors copyright expired or that the copyright holder released the work under a free license. This is to demonstrate with source information that you have been requested to add. --Martin H. (talk) 22:30, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
So you think that I didn't paint it all by myself? You claim that the painting baises on somebody else's work? Well, then I guess you're the one who have to prove that it's not entirely my work. I needed to erase background because of lots of lead and ink smutches. It's not clean at all. This is the truth. Besides I can't take anymore pictures on camera on few weeks cause it's my stepdad's and he is in his cabin, far from here. I spent very very much time and things to finish that picture. I can tell you it's my work. Why don't you delete all my paintings by the same token? P.S.: How should I know what you've been talked on your talk page? Including your unfounded allegation, you are very rude. No offense.. Crimson Cherry Blossom (talk) 06:45, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I dont have to "prove" anything. Well, it looks like cropped from a photo, you wrote yourself that you removed some background. If you say it is entirely your own work and not based on any other persons input or is a reqork of an old photo (or of a photo of a photo) you should simply write exactly this reasoning in the source field and remove the no source tag. For me it was quite obvious that it is a photograph, if it is not please forgive my curiousity and just write the hones information down. --Martin H. (talk) 06:59, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Like this? If you believe that the picture bases on some photo, then use Google.
You know, all this suspicion means that painting really looks like Liston! So I'm not really as bad painter as I've believed. =) Crimson Cherry Blossom (talk) 13:37, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
