Please do not take authorship of images that are not your work. Thank you for your understanding. Gampe (talk) 15:30, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, Gampe! Since I am new here, please tell me how to proceed.
- 1.) I want to insert the picture in a new article of the german wikipedia. I do not want to put it in the (worldwide) commons.
- 2.) I scanned the photographic copy - which I heritated and is in my possession - of a photographie taken in about 1885 of a drawing of about that time, showing the shop of the grandfather of my grandfather in Prag. So I guess, I have the property rights.
- 3.) In writing the article I work with the Visual Studio Program and for inserting the picture I tried to answer the questions to the best of my knowledge.
- What is wrong now, and how could I do better? Or is it best, to withdraw the picture?

- 1) It's already there. There's no reason why it can't be there.
- 2) I'm sure you don't have copyright. The author of the work is Friedrich Wachsmann, died in 1897, his works are free.
- 3) Please upload images via https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:UploadWizard and answer the questions there truthfully
- 4) In any case, your uploaded file is welcome. Thank you for that. But the author, the year of creation and the license were wrong. I've corrected it. Gampe (talk) 18:32, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
- Many thanks! I did not know of all that. 178.191.223.158 20:33, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
