Cycling Federation of India photographs[edit] Dear Dmuc,

I was in the middle of researching the history of the Cycling Federation of India, especially during 1940s and 50s. I was so happy to find your photographs on the Wikipedia page and the photographs you had uploaded to Commons. I went to continue my research but found they were deleted by another user. I didn't understand why they were deleted as I read your message saying they were family photographs - did you include this information when uploading?

I recognise at least one person in the Indian team particularly in this photograph who is a very close family friend:

https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:India-Cycle-Sporting-4-internationalevent-warsaw-berlin-prague-race.jpg&action=edit&redlink=1

He is sadly very sick at the moment and as part of my research I really wanted to show them the photographs as he would be able to identify others in the team.

Is there anyway we can be in touch to share the photos elsewhere and I can provide information to you on the photographs.

Please leave me a message.

Best wishes,

Tehmina Goskar --Courgettelawn (talk) 21:14, 6 September 2016 (UTC) THE PICTURES ARE NOW ON WIKIPAGE, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO IDENTIFY THE OTHERS IN THE PICTURES.
