Thank you for uploading some images! Did you know that Wikimedia Commons recommends the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format for certain types of images? Scalable Vector Graphics are designed to look appropriate at any scale, and SVG images are easier to modify and translate, helping Wikimedia to distribute knowledge to all of the world. A lot of modern programs support SVG export. If you encountered problems or have questions, don't hesitate to ask me, a member of the Graphic Lab, or the Graphics village pump. Uploading images in SVG format isn't mandatory, but it would help. (To avoid any misunderstandings, please don't just put raster images into an SVG container as embedded raster.) Thanks, and happy editing!

(talk page stalker) @Ronhjones: it would be naïve to expect some user to adopt SVG, at least instantly. But—at very least—Christian Camatti Menegon should cease now to save raster illustrations in JPEG and choose PNG as the export file format. Incnis Mrsi (talk) 10:30, 31 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Ronhjones: @Incnis Mrsi: Okay, I stopped uploading articles about organic chains because of that. I'll start rebuilding in svg, but this is not like generating a bitmap, I'm redoing these chains and it takes me effort! BTW, just wait a while. Thank you for the warning, I'll pay attention to this. @Incnis Mrsi: File:Thionation .jpg is not even a good jpg of chemical structures. The text is quite grey and almost fuzzy. It's normal for all non-svg structures to be annotated with the {{Svg}} template, and we give one advisory message (as above) to the user. Some users do switch to svg, some ignore it. However (if useful) they will eventually be re-drawn (but not quick - some I tagged 6 months ago have just been done), and the raster version put up for delete. If you are interested in ways of making svg for chemistry, then en:Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Chemistry/Structure drawing has a lot of information (I even wrote some of it!).
