Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Please keep in mind that images and other files on Commons must be under a free license and should be useful to the Wikimedia projects. To allow others to use your files, some additional information must be given on the description page. Most importantly:

• Describe what it is about in a short sentence. (What does the image show?)
• State the author and the date of creation. If you made it yourself, say so explicitly. If it is from another Wikimedia user, link to the person's local user page. Best to use CommonsHelper.
• If you did not create the file yourself, state the source you got it from.
• Add a copyright tag - images without an appropriate license tag will be deleted.
• Add the image to one or more gallery pages and/or appropriate categories, so it can be found by others. To find out where an image belongs, you can use CommonsSense.

If you copied the file from another wiki, please copy all information given there and say who uploaded it to that wiki. Use CommonsHelper.

It is recommended to use Template:Information to put that information on the description page. Have a look at Template talk:Information for details of the use of this template.

You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file.

Re: Colocação de imagem

Olá Capeto, é estranho que receba essa mensagem, pois a mim nesse link não dá nenhuma informação de imagem apagada. Será que podia confirmar qual o nome com que está a tentar carregar a imagem?-- Darwin ^Ahoy! 01:11, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

Quando termino de preencher a pag. "carregar ficheiro", na propria aparece algo +- assim: "essa imagem ja foi apagada no passado, verifique o por que", vou verificar e não consigo. Acredito que eu tenha que desistir de coloca-las, pois a maioria ja foi colocada +- em 2008 e posterirmente apagadas. Como eu posso informar corretamente os dados das imagens se não sei quem são os autores. O que sei é que são fotos comuns (daquelas que, antigamente, a pessoa entrava em uma loja de fotografias, tirava a foto, pagava o fotografo e ficava com uma copia - estou a referir-me a pessoas de minha familia e que ja faleceram, no minimo, ha 50 anos, ha casos em que o falecimento foi ha mais de 120 anos e que tem biografias historicas na Wikipedia), e/ou fotos de telas de meus antepassados, pintadas ou litografadas ha mais de 120 anos e que compõe, atualmente, meu acervo pessoal e são ostentadas nas paredes de minha casa. As fotos dessas telas e/ou litografias eu mesmo as fiz, para poder coloca-las em algumas das 17 paginas que escrevi e 20 que complementei dados para a wikipedia, por ex.: http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lu%C3%ADs_Ant%C3%B4nio_de_Morais_Navarro e http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ces%C3%A1rio_Cec%C3%ADlio_de_Assis_Coimbra Fico frustrado, de mais uma vez, não poder incrementar as paginas que escrevi, com as imagens que possuo. Por sinal algumas delas aparecem nas "imagens" do Google, oriundas de paginas de minha familia na Geneall.Net, aonde consegui posta-las. Oi Capeto, não desista ainda dos carregamentos. Experimente com uma seleccionar "ignore warnings" em baixo, e se mesmo assim não der, mudar o nome de destino. Em último caso eu mesmo carrego as suas imagens, se me enviar. Abraço, -- Darwin ^Ahoy! 11:53, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful information about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

Olá Capeto, bom dia! Há muito que ando para lhe responder, mas como prefiro tratar dos seus ficheiros com mais atenção, vou deixando para depois, mas não me esqueci deles, até porque são bem do meu agrado e interesse. Vou ver o que se passa com a licença desse ficheiro. Entretanto, fiz alguns restauros e correcções de cor nas suas imagens, não sei se reparou, mas gostava de saber a sua opinião.
