File:Penis art 1.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Original art does not always fit into a person’s preconceived notion of whether it is educational or not. That is why it is all in the eyes of the viewer. CalusUse (talk) 04:07, 15 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Wikimedia Commons, a non-profit media repository with the primary scope of providing educational and informative images and media. Submissions that are low quality or do not fall into Commons' scope may be subject to deletion.

One or more of your recent contributions has been identified by another Commons user as a possible image not in Commons' scope. Commons has guidelines on nudity, as a result of already having a large number of photos of genitalia, specifically the male reproductive system and the penis.

If you have objections to the proposed deletion of your image(s), please see the links to the relevant deletion discussion(s) (listed above or below this message box). This message is not intended to be taken personally. Thank you for your understanding.

The person nominating this image for deletion hides behind an anonymous IP address in Santiago Chile. That same person has been trolling my contributions and is attempting to use censorship to impose their personal or moral values on Wikimedia Commons.
My contributions are not sexually suggestive nor pornographic in nature. My images are a high quality portrayal of some of the parts of the male human body and should only be viewed as having an educational value without fear, embarrassment or judgement from the viewers who search for information on Wikimedia Commons. Commons:Nudity#New uploads of penis photo, not special enough to be educationally useful A1Cafel (talk) 16:49, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This uploaded image has great educational value and use. It is used extensively with over one million requests in a year and a daily average of over twenty eight hundred requests. It shows in clear detail a high quality photo image of an anatomical part of an aging human male. This photo image is not sexual in nature but only showing the physiology of the penile erection. Any image that is not explicitly provided with a free license is copyrighted. Maybe 50 years ago copyright protection required registration in some countries (e.g. the US), but that is no longer the case anywhere in the world. PaterMcFly (talk) 16:02, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There are no copyright issues with any of my uploads. They are entirely my own work. I own the original digital images. On the 16th of October 2024, it was brought to my attention by "Smooth O" and here is a summary of the resolution:" Smooth O (talk) 10:26, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This upload was the only one that I uploaded not knowing the copyright status. As you can see my error was quickly resolved on the 16th of October..
Now it appears to me that I'm being scrutinized by claims from other Wiki's that my other contributions may be in violation of copyright infringements.
Again I state that I had only one contribution that possibly was an infringement and with the direction of "Smooth O" it was successfully removed.
I trust that my explanation will put this issue behind me. Thanks CalusUse (talk) 11:38, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello PaterMcFLY, Yes those are my files that I have uploaded and edited. I have used others work from Wiki as allowed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International license. I did have problems attributing two of the files to the author of the work and I'm in the process of correcting the missing attribution for my use of the two files.
To answer your question on why I have used prefixes "AAAA" or "OOOO" on some of the names of my work, it's just part of my categorization of my index system on my computer.
Thanks, CalusUse CalusUse (talk) 13:07, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
