Hello. I would appreciate if HermesBot would wait at least a minute till I fill the description of newly uploaded images, before notifying me of "no source". Thank you. :) - Darwinek 10:57, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Seconded, it is COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS (upper case intended) to flag my Monarch Airline pic as "no source" TEN SECONDS after upload and before I had any chance whatever of pasting in the Copyright notice. Thanks - Arpingstone 18:41, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
- Why can't you include it when you upload it? Even if you put a `, in it, the bot will skip. ~ Wikihermit 00:01, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- I completely agree with Darwinek. I always create my image description pages a short moment after uploading an image and I have good reasons for doing this. And I've done it for more than 800 images during the past few years this way. I recently uploaded five images and your bot put three notices at my page. I reverted all of them. Please modify your bot and stop his activities until this has been done. -- aka 19:22, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- Because you continued your activities without changes, I now blocked your Bot account. -- aka 13:29, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- I agree, wait at least five minutes before tagging. To aka: Please disable autoblocking when blocking a bot; you have blocked all bots of the toolserver! Wikihermit, let one of us know when you have made the change so that we can unblock the bot. Note that unverified.py from pywikipedia also waits some time before tagging, last time I checked. -- Bryan (talk to me) 21:08, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I hadn't checked this page. I'll do that. ~ Wikihermit 22:48, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Well despite the blocking, it seemed to me that community consensus was nevertheless in favour of this so I closed it... ++Lar: t/c 01:37, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
Congratulations! It has bot status now. --EugeneZelenko 16:00, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
