Sounds good. I’m interested in LA history. There’s a lot of it here in Shreveport…it’s been a city since about 1841, not long after the Alamo and San Jacinto over in Texas. There were important civil rights events here. Also the Municipal Auditorium had the Louisiana Hayride with major artists like Hank Williams, Johnny Horton, and many others including Elvis! Lead Belly is from Mooringsport, 25 miles north, and he was in Shreveport as a young and very dangerous man. He was put in prison for trying (if not succeeding) in killing a man on Fannin Street in the then legal red light district around 1910 or so. Lots of interesting stuff!
