File:CGIL Calvizzano 2 (anni 90').jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

- @Günther Frager Hi, I have mistakenly signed the Copyright also PD-1996 for both photos and I didn't noticed until now. Is there any chance it can be retired the immediate deletion of them by correcting the copyright? Brebozio (talk) 01:26, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- You can transform it in a normal DR, but I don't see how they are in the public domain. Any photo published in Italy after March 1, 1989 is automatically copyrighted in the US. Günther Frager (talk) 01:29, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Günther Frager
- If you read Template:PD-Italy in their original country these photos are not copyrighted, so they are of public domain, because they're not creative works but just images depicting events, and their copyright expired after 20 years from their production. I just mistakenly put into their copyright also the public domain in US.
- How can I transform the deletions in DR? There's a Discussion page? Brebozio (talk) 02:01, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- If you go to the image, below the deletion tag there is a button that says "challenge speedy deletion" (if you use the Italian interface it may differ). Regarding PD, yes, I know it is the public domain in Italy, but the licensing policy requires images to be in the public domain or have a free license in both its country of origin and in the US. Here only one of the conditions is satisfied. Günther Frager (talk) 02:09, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
