Photographer Karolini Rheinheimer And Best Works

[edit]

Karolini Rheinheimer is a freelance photographer specializing in landscape subjects in Vietnam. He is famous for the ancient fossils in Tuy Phong, Binh Thuan, Yen Suoi in Hanoi, Bac Son in Lang Son ....

His photos bring viewers a lot of emotions and send them the natural love of the country. With the message "Keep the beautiful nature of your homeland Vietnam", he sends this message through the photos that he wants to give viewers a deeper insight into nature. Currently he lives and works in the city. Ho Chi Minh. I had the opportunity to contact him and have a quick chat with him to hear him share about his career in Photography. Let's listen to him talk.

1. How did you come to photography?

Due to my childhood interest in photography, in 1987 I enrolled in a professional photography course at the New York Photographic Institute (NYIP) and completed that course in about 2 years later. Since then, I have mainly used photography to shoot products for work. In the following years, I focused most of my time on work and for my family. Around 2011, when everything had stabilized, I had a lot of time to pursue my passion for photography. During weekends, when I was on vacation, when I was on vacation, I "recorded, captured" the beautiful moment of the homeland. And since then, I have focused a lot on my love and passion for landscape photography, especially Vietnamese landscapes.

2. In photography there are so many subjects why do you choose the theme of landscapes?

During a visit to Ke Ga at dawn, at that time, the sky was red with beautiful colors, so it gave me a strong impression. It was that moment that gave me a strong love for nature. And especially when choosing a scene to shoot, I like the scene with the element of "water and clouds", not giving priority to people entering the photo. If any photo has a random person while taking it, people run into the "picture frame".

3. With the theme of landscapes you have to travel a lot, what effect does it have on your work or family?

Of course, if we want to do something, we have to have the right way? As if wanting to play photos, first of all, the job must be stable, and must arrange to go. My job is a business so I want to go anytime and usually I go on weekends. The second difficulty is finance. Finance must be really stable, because "playing, not doing". And the third thing is that every day and hour to take good care of my wife and children. Of course at first I will be nagging, but I comforted me to save and moreover when I go home I bring gifts to my wife. Then slowly, the wife also gave away, at first, giving a little bit later, understanding her passion, she also gave more. Like now, I can go comfortably.

4. In landscape photography, which element do you think is the most important?

The most important factor in landscape photography is "finding a good angle". That is, what we base on the scene how beautiful it is, it produces such a beautiful image. So if you want to have a beautiful photo, you have to find a beautiful angle, but if you want a good angle, you must first have a beautiful location such as rivers, lakes, mountains, valleys, canals, trees. Go to the location to find that beautiful angle, and wait for the moment to shoot. At the beginning of shooting, landscape photography techniques, such as filter exposure, exposure and optimal focus techniques, are applied. Check to see if the photo met the criteria we wanted. If so, post-production is perfect for a complete picture of the elements of the landscape photo. So, the most important thing is that we find a good angle.

5. What is your favorite thing about landscape photography?

My favorite thing about landscape photos is that it gives me entertainment. Going to a place where there is a beautiful scenery, breathing fresh air, collectively having moments of harmony with nature. Those were very comfortable and enjoyable moments. All our lives are slaves, right? When I was a child, I had to study to take care of the future; When I got married, I took care of my wife and children; when middle-aged, they take care of their parents who are old and weak; If anyone in the company is a leader, they must take care of their employees, whoever works as an employee must take care of the leader, ... In general, our whole life is exactly slaves. So photography is a moment for us to forget everything, not to worry about anything, it is a moment for our souls to be light and unconcerned.

Thank you for having a very interesting and sincere conversation and sharing. Wish you more and more compose more beautiful photos of your home country Vietnam.

Let's take a look at some of his unique works.
