File:Dan_Andersson_Järntorget_01.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

I would suggest a discussion with the busy-body user who has bothered the community with this suggestion for deletion, and demandt tha he or she tries to find out basic facts about copyright rules in a specific country (is this case Sweden) before making such far out-of-the-way interventions. The same user has marked a number of similar pictures with a suggestion-for deletion.Boberger (talk) 07:13, 10 October 2011 (UTC)

Commons:Deletion requests/<sculptures from sweden>

It was an IP and the IP was blocked after LX asked for. Unfortunately it was a clever user, who knows that one has to delete all cookies, start a new browser session and has to obtain a new IP-address to circumvent the block. (Ref: COM:AN/B#178.232.124.8→This is also the right place to discuss this matter.)

Please remember that arguments, which focus on the nominator, will not decide the result of the deletion request.

Thank you for all your contributions. Sincerely. -- RE rillke questions? 07:55, 10 October 2011 (UTC)

Sweden

If you remove year-based articles from categories of a town in Sweden, please move them to just "x year in Sweden". Also, I think it's OK to have category by year from circa 2005. And also, "Jönköping in the 20th century" is better than "history of Jönköping in the 20th century". J 1982 (talk) 20:21, 21 May 2012 (UTC)

It is not possible to scout for usable pictures by users with the method you have categorized. Some pictures have been almost totally hidden by this fine network of tertiary categories, with little primary categorization by substance. You should not impose a standard finegrained category system by year on the users, especially not for substance categories of little volume. You should also not start with possibly logical systems before there is any demand for structures of this neatness! There should be a practical balance between volume of pictures in any one category och the finetuning av sub-categories! I know that you have been warned before for excesses in starting too finetuned category treees. Better used your constructive energy on project more appreciated by the community! Boberger (talk) 20:33, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
I'm talking of using this system from 2004-2005, when there are images enough. It's OK that you move categories from earlier years than that into centuries, but not recent years when we have a lot of pictures. J 1982 (talk) 20:39, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
Category discussion warning

Category:Bygglovshandlingar has been listed at Commons:Categories for discussion so that the community can discuss ways in which it should be changed. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. If the category is up for deletion because it has been superseded, consider the notion that although the category may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new category.

In all cases, please do not take the category discussion personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!

This sculpture is not "Öppen famn"

Not "Öppen famn"
Öppen famn

Hello! The sculpturer Roland Anderson who created "Öppen famn" contacted me and said that a picture that claimed to show his "Öppen famn" is really some other sculpture. His sculpture is placed where Berzeliigatan meets Skånegatan in Göteborg, and I took some pictures although the weather was not perfect. Maybe you should correct the info and categories on your image. /Rolf B (talk) 22:30, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for being notified on this error. I have now changed "description" and "category". I´m going to Göteborg next week, and may be able to get the other sculpture identified then. Therefore, I´ll wait a while until asking the administrors to change the title of the image. Boberger (talk) 22:38, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Johan Turi Jukkasjärvi kyrka Andersmäss.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Hi Boberger, I assume that such creative works as this lamp are copyrighted-protected in Denmark. Are you sure that it is not? Otherwise would recommend to open a regular deletion discussion in order to attract more expertise about that question. --Túrelio (talk) 13:54, 5 April 2013 (UTC)

--Fernando.lison (talk) 05:22, 19 September 2013 (UTC)

I am very pleased by your usage of this photo on your site, and you are off course free to you other of the photos uploaded by me.
As you may have noted, the photo was taken last year at Tjärnö research station, which is run by the University of Gothenburg, and situated south of Strömstad

In the northern part of the province of Bohuslän, just south of the broder to Norway. I am sure that you would also get assistance from the research station, in café you need photos of other species from this habitat. The station is by the way situated close to a very specific habitat, which since two years is a Protected area, constituting the firat underwater national park of Sweden ( and perhaps in All of Europe as well? Regards Boberger (talk) 15:26, 19 September 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for your quickly response!
Yes, I need a lot of photos of underwater species (and others), because I will be aware of your photos, of course.
May I use your photo and adapt your "Användare Boberger" of to complete your profile in Animalandia?
