Life of author plus 70 years
[edit]Hi. In terms of those two 1930s newspaper photos. Have you identified the author/photographer of each? If yes, who were they? If not, how do we know they died before 1954? Are you confident that those images are correctly licenced/labelled? Guliolopez (talk) 13:20, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
- When did Arthur H Davis die? Are you sure it was 1954 or earlier? There was an Arthur H Davis who had a photography studio at 30 Westmoreland Street. Is he the author/photographer for that image? Do you have a definitive date of death? If not, are we sure that we can confidently declare that "PD-old-70" applies? Guliolopez (talk) 20:27, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
