Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Postcards

Hello Morgane, thanks for uploading so many postcards. I initiate the COM:WPPC. Today I see here your uploads from yesterday. Every topography postcard should have a "Category:Postcards of ..." and if possible a "Category:Postcards published by ...". I use our gallery Logos of postcard publishers to find some publishers and add the categories to the postcards. Maybe you can also add this categories by your own.

Also I create the webtool https://postcardcatfinder.toolforge.org. There you can insert a filename and you will get categories suggested. For example this file should be in the Category:Postcards of Paris. Better "Category:Postcards of Paris 5e arrondissement" or "Category:Postcards of Val-de-Grâce", but both at the moment not exist.

Thanks for your message. This many imports (via Pattypan) are made as part of a plan between my institution (BIU Santé, Paris) and Wikimedia France. Documents are uploaded at the same time on Wikidata and Wikimedia.

Our internal database doesn’t mention editors, that’s why the information « published by » doesn’t appear. However, further to your message, we actually rework these publication informations in our tools, and then specify the Wikimedia categories.
