Térképek

[edit]

- Matthew (leave me a message) 17:51, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello my friend,
About this modification. Could you provide a link to hu.wikipedia.org (like |hu=:hu:Neve különböző nyelveken) instead of a simple translation ?
Thanks in advance, cheers Liné1 (talk) 09:13, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There isn't "Common name" article in the Hungarian WP. We have only "Scientific name" article (hu:A fajok tudományos neve), but they are opposites. I translated the string from german (Name in den verschiedenen Sprachen), but I don't know what would be the correct article name because I didn't find any red or blue link to this. --BáthoryPéter (talk) 12:17, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the quick answer my friend. I cannot help you on this. So I copied your response in hu:Vita:Kezdőlap#commons:Template:VN.2Ftitle. Cheers Liné1 (talk) 12:31, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Toldalákolás

[edit]

Láttam foglalkoztál a dátumok toldalékolásával. - Matthew (leave me a message) 15:38, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Helyesebb a másodikához (2-hoz). - Matthew (leave me a message) 12:01, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Language codes

[edit]

Hi BáthoryPéter, thanks for translating! I reverted you here because at Commons we sort by language code. Multichill (talk) 23:17, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, but I don't understand why is it good. This produces indiscriminate and hard to read language lists. --BáthoryPéter (talk) 23:53, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, BáthoryPéter!
Tip: Add categories to your files
Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.

There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful information about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

thanks for the sitenotice localization. Can you also do the same for the script the notice relates to? You can edit User:Rd232/myuploads.js directly or leave a note at User talk:Rd232/myuploads.js. cheers, Rd232 (talk) 12:55, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Translation

[edit]

Hello my friend,
could you try to add the hu translation in:

Cheers Liné1 (talk) 08:05, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I saw that you are the author of the Hungarian version of the Template:Denkmalgeschütztes Objekt Österreich. Since I am engaged in the South Tyrolean monuments project, I wanted to kindly ask you, if you could provide a translation for our quite similar Template:Denkmalgeschütztes Objekt Südtirol, as well. I didn't even dare to try the results of the Google Translator, I can just presume that Dél-Tirolban should appear somewhere instead of osztrák ^^. Cheers, --Mai-Sachme (talk) 16:04, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Picture of the Year voting round 1 open

[edit]

Dear Wikimedians,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2012 Picture of the Year competition is now open. We're interested in your opinion as to which images qualify to be the Picture of the Year for 2012. Voting is open to established Wikimedia users who meet the following criteria:

 1. Users must have an account, at any Wikimedia project, which was registered before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC].
 2. This user account must have more than 75 edits on any single Wikimedia project before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC]. Please check your account eligibility at the POTY 2012 Contest Eligibility tool.
 3. Users must vote with an account meeting the above requirements either on Commons or another SUL-related Wikimedia project (for other Wikimedia projects, the account must be attached to the user's Commons account through SUL).

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. From professional animal and plant shots to breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historically relevant images, images portraying the world's best architecture, maps, emblems, diagrams created with the most modern technology, and impressive human portraits, Commons features pictures of all flavors.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topic categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you can vote for as many images as you like. The first round category winners and the top ten overall will then make it to the final. In the final round, when a limited number of images are left, you must decide on the one image that you want to become the Picture of the Year.

To see the candidate images just go to the POTY 2012 page on Wikimedia Commons

Wikimedia Commons celebrates our featured images of 2012 with this contest. Your votes decide the Picture of the Year, so remember to vote in the first round by January 30, 2013.

Thanks,
the Wikimedia Commons Picture of the Year committee

Hungarian speaker needed

[edit]

Hello. You are the only person highly active on Commons that I could find who speaks Hungarian. Could you please take a look at Commons:Kocsmafal#Hungarian_speaker_needed for me? I would much appreciate it. Thanks. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 23:47, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As I can see Samat did the translation, sorry for the delay. If you need my help, just ping me again! --BáthoryPéter (talk) 22:33, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Friss Pécs térkép

[edit]

Szia! Köszönöm, hogy szóltál, amint időm engedi, frissíteni fogom. --BáthoryPéter (talk) 20:30, 16 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

shalom ☺

[edit]

Hi there, this is just a heads up: your file is inaccurate, I intend to replace it with a corrected file. Instead of a holam male (וֹ) it exhibits a holam haser preceeding the vavֹו , which thus modifies the lamed, basically reading "shalovm" (שָׁלֹום) instead of "shalom" (שָׁלוֹם). Greetings, Dan Pelleg (talk) 15:07, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

fränkisch ≠ francia! Torzsmokus (talk) 11:23, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Location estimated

[edit]

Hi Péter - I revised the wording of Template:Location estimated/en to make it more appropriate. Could you revise your wording of the Hungarian version Template:Location estimated/hu to match, please? Thanks! - MPF (talk) 23:10, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
