Hi, I again reverted your removal of the license tags in this image. Commons knows that license tags can be changed on flickr, but that does not mean the original license is invalid. It also is the reason why the bot User:FlickreviewR checks if the license is correct at time of uploading. Also, just removing the tags is not helpful, if you think this image needs to be deleted please list the image at Commons:Deletion requests. Garion96 (talk) 10:22, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, I added it to the deletion requests queue, as the image source shows copyright, all right reserved.[1]
- Yes, but as I told you flickr allows users to change a license, but that does not mean the original license is invalid. That is the whole point of having User:FlickreviewR, to check whether the license was there at the time the image was uploaded to commons. I responded at the deletion request. - I understood you perfectly. As an ethical issue it is not right for us to use the image if she does not want her image used. Whether we could legally support using the photo or not would need to be determined by a court. I replied in more detail at the deletion request. Atomaton (talk) 05:41, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
