Vidya Technology

Vidya Technology is a Brazilian company that develops solutions for process industries such as Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Pulp and Paper, Metallurgy, Mining, among others.

The company is located in the city of Curitiba, in the state of Paraná, and was founded in October 2013.

The beginning

Vidya was born with the premise of generating greater safety in industrial operations through the optimization of industrial asset management.

It all started with the development of projects related to corrosion within industrial plants. The company was incubated at COPPE at UFRJ and later accelerated at FIEP in the state of Paraná.

In the beginning, Vidya developed Hardware for corrosion monitoring such as Coupons and Electrical Resistance Probes, and right from the start, it managed to develop projects together with Petrobras.

Digital Twin Software

Over the years, the company has identified opportunities for optimizing asset integrity within the industry and has since started developing Vidya Software.

Vidya Software is authentic Digital Twin software that provides a continuous flow of data between real assets and virtual replicas.

The purpose of the software is to digitally replicate an entire industrial plant where the manager has access to a database on assets and can simulate, optimize, and plan actions.

The program has predictive models capable of generating knowledge and thus predicting maintenance costs and areas with greater degradation. Using the software provides operational awareness within facilities with tens of thousands of assets that need to be monitored.

The company

Vidya Technology has grown over the years and closed projects with major players in the sector. Annually, the company participates in congresses and industrial events with the objective of generating discussions and learning about the main challenges related to asset integrity management.
