Amrit Baral

Amrit Baral ( born March 6 1988) is a medical doctor from Nepal who rode his bicycle through 17 countries over a time period of 16 months for “HIV AIDS AWARENESS” & “ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION”.

Dr. Amrit has been actively involved in humanitarian work especially in the sector of health care and education. As the Medical Services Coordinator for NGO Dirghayu Nepal, he conducts free medical camps and awareness campaigns in remote villages to help poor people. 

In cities and towns all over the world, he shared his expertise on the topics of HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention via talks, campaigns and interviews. Dr. Baral and his brother embarked on a “World Bicycle Tour,” carrying the message of “Environmental Protection and HIV/AIDS Awareness” beginning on 20th September2015”. He wanted to share valuable messages with more of the world. In keeping with their belief of also serving Mother Earth, they decided to do it in a way that was also good for the environment. He is also the Publisher of Discover Nepal Magazine, sharing information about Nepal and Pokhara with visitors from all over the world.
