IP block exempt

[edit]

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Commons:IP block exemption carefully.

Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Commons via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. ~ Nahid Talk 19:36, 21 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Alifpolestar, the following content you uploaded violates one or more of our policies and therefore has been or will soon be deleted:

File:Justice for Man, Bnagladesh logo 1.jpg

The Wikimedia Commons (this website) only hosts media files with a realistic educational purpose and that can be used for any purpose, including:
  • use in any work, regardless of content
  • creation of derivative works
  • commercial use
  • free distribution

See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons, and Commons:Image casebook for some specific examples. Some other Wikimedia projects have different licensing policies. For example, the English Wikipedia allows fair use of sounds and photographs. This is not the case on Wikimedia Commons; "fair use" materials are not acceptable here.

Please make sure that you only upload educational content you have created yourself, those which are out of copyright, or those for which you have the required permission for the work to be used in all the ways described above. Please note that derivative works of copyrighted material are also considered copyrighted. Again, please read through Commons:Licensing, which is quite crucial, to understanding how Wikimedia Commons works. Thanks for your contribution, and please do leave me a message if you have further questions.

And also:

Yours sincerely, ~ Nahid Talk 22:07, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock request declined

This blocked user asked to be unblocked, but one or more administrators has reviewed and declined this request. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not override the decision without discussion.

Request reason: "First of all, first time my IP was blocked by NahidSultan WITHOUT ANY REASON. There was only a picture of a flag which was my own creation based of the original design of freedom fighter’s organization of Bangladesh & FREE FOR ALL. But NahidSultan marked it as vandalism without any reason. When I wanted to know the reason of blocking my IP, the admin was unable to come up with any valid reason & said, I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking . Now again my IP is blocked by the same user and the reason this time is CONTENT NOT FREE and VANDALISM. Which is irrational & totally out of question. Because the images were logos of HelpAid Foundation, Justice for Women Bangladesh & Justice for Men Bangladesh. The creator of the logos and The Chairman of these organization is personally known by me and THE CONTENTS WERE FREE."
Decline reason: "Firstly, the decline is procedural as your account is not now, and never has been blocked. In response to your comments:
  1. All of NahidSultan's blocks are logged here, and all have reasons ("my IP was blocked by NahidSultan WITHOUT ANY REASON" is patently untrue);
  2. None of your files have been marked as vandalism ("NahidSultan marked it as vandalism without any reason" is patently untrue);
  3. You were granted an IP block exemption because you were unintentionally caught in a range block, not because any block was unjustified ("the admin was unable to come up with any valid reason" is patently untrue);
  4. The IP block exemption was removed because you were uploading copyright violations ("Now again my IP is blocked by the same user and the reason this time is [...] VANDALISM" is patently untrue)
That you, in this request, demonstrate 1) an utter failure to COM:AGF and 2) a failure to understand COM:L, COM:EVID, etc. (e.g. "The creator of the logos and The Chairman of these organization is personally known by me") suggests you should not be re-granted the IP block exemption. Indeed, all of your uploads, save perhaps your self image, have been copyright or scope violations. The only undeleted, non-self image is either a copyvio (a COM:DW per "based of the original design of freedom fighter’s organization of Bangladesh & FREE FOR ALL") or out of COM:SCOPE ("a flag which was my own creation") Per the spirit of COM:BLOCK, you need to demonstrate an understanding of the issue and a commitment not to repeat it. Not having done this suggests there is indeed disruption to be prevented by not granting an IP block exemption. Эlcobbola talk 23:58, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
