Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Categories

Hi Alexey Kljatov, please respect Commons:Categories and particularly don't over-categorize your images! Also note that a snowflake consits of many snow crystals. Greetings, -- Ies (talk) 15:44, 5 May 2015 (UTC)

FPC

Hi! Could you please read the instructions about how to create nominations for Featured Pictures. Go to COM:FPC. There is also a beginners tutorial at COM:FPC#Simple tutorial for new users. Also, I've reverted the categories you placed on your user page. Those categories are only to be used for photos, not users. There are other ways to create user categories, see Commons:User-specific galleries, templates and categories. Such categories can be seen by other logged-in users, but they don't show up for people who just visit the site. You are welcome to the project, but things work a bit differently here than on commercial sites. Photographers here work to build a free repository for images, not to use the site for self-promotion. --Cart (talk) 13:21, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
