Uploading a lot
[edit]Hi Alancordova, i heard you were looking for a tool to upload a lot of files. At Commons:Tools#Upload media you can find several tools to upload a lot of files. You probably want to try out Commonist or Commonplace. Have fun! Multichill (talk) 19:58, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- None of the tools seem to work for me - I can't install Commonist on Windows, and Commonplace refuses to upload my photos. Is there any way to automatically import pictures and the associated data (geotags) from Flickr? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alancordova (talk • contribs) 19:34, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
- We have two tools for transfering images from flickr to Commons (both listed under Commons:Tools#Upload media), but these tools only transfer images under free licences (-nc and -nd are not free here at Commons). Multichill (talk) 18:55, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
