Categories Lviv

Hi Ahonc, would you please stop deleting categories I create for monuments in Ukraine? I connect them with the monument IDs in the ukrainian monuments lists and the Erfgoedbot will fill them regularly. I'm sure you have heard of this Bot that support us with the fantastic amounts of images that were uploaded throug Wiki Loves Monuments. It would have been nice if you asked what I do before you just destroy my work which is not easy for me as I am not a native speaker of Ukrainian. I would just like to add that even if those categories were not related to Wiki Loves Monuments, some care and consideration should have been given to the work of a fellow Commons administrator. You know that we all here try to help in creating and managing this great media repository, and also know the basic rules, so I think you should've guessed that those seemingly empty categories were there for a reason :-) Thanks, odder (talk) 19:29, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
Empty categories fall under speedy deletion. If you create category, you should place in it at least two images. There is no need to create category for only one image. And if we get other image for this topic, we create new category.Anatoliy (talk) 19:32, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
As I explained, this is team work: I create the category, Erfgoedbot will fill it automatically. The categories are linked at uk.wp and will be filled, as a result of the deletions we will have filled but non-existent categories. --Elya (talk) 19:41, 3 October 2012 (UTC)

I created categories only for existing images that are listed under [1]. We have around 6000 unused monument images from WLM Ukraine that need to be categorized and put into the lists. If you'd like to join us with this huge work it would be much more constructive than deleting categories without even asking what I'm doing. Regarda, --Elya (talk) 19:49, 3 October 2012 (UTC)

Misuse of tools

Never rollback (per COM:RBK) anyone's edit when it isn't vandalism and never change categories when it is disputed, as an Admin you should know this. Bidgee (talk) 10:00, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
