Вилучення категорії

Вітаю! Скажи будь ласка, що таке "Kiev Rapid Transit" у твоєму розумінні і чому була гостра необхідність вилучати категорію "Category:Kyiv Urban Electric Train", незважаючи на те, що англійською "Київська міська електричка" перекладається як "Kiev Urban Electric Train" ? --Sodmy (talk) 13:27, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

Перед її створенням, кілька років тому, я про це з кимось обговорював (вже не пам'ятаю, чи це тут чи в англійській Вікіпедії), як краще назвати міську електричку, вирішили, що Rapid transit.--Anatoliy (talk) 13:29, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

На мою думку (та інших людей я також питав) ця назва не відповідає значенню Київська міська електричка, а означає щось типу - "швидкий, що їде через Київ". А враховуючи, що є англомовна стаття із відповідною назвою, то моя назва категорії є точною, на відміну від твоєї, яка є досить розмитою і не однозначною. Якщо б англомовні користувачі назвали КМЕ іншим словом, я б його теж написав, але зараз є назва "Kiev Urban Electric Train". Тому прошу тебе як адміна відновити категорію та перекатегоризувати назад всі зображення. --Sodmy (talk) 15:15, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

Загалом ви праві, тут є рекомендація називати за англійською Вікіпедією (але там Kiev, а у вас було Kyiv), однак в нашому випадку категорія у Сховищі була створена на кілька місяців раніше, ніж стаття в англовікі. Тому власне і така назва. А якщо вже перейменовувати за англовікі, то на точну назву (Kiev Urban Electric Train), а не частково з англовікі, частково придуману (Kyiv Urban Electric Train), тим більше, що основна категорія тут зветься Kiev (це обговорювалося років 4 тому, і вирішили залишити назву відповідно до англовікі).--Anatoliy (talk) 15:25, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

Ну це вже питання нашої національної гідності, писати як "окупанти" "Kiev", чи як українськке "Kyiv", особисто в мене серце та розум за другу назву - "крапля камінь точить". --Sodmy (talk) 16:00, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

Ahonc, I'm the original-author of this map when I used the user "Eddo" that I forgot my last password and that's why I created my new account, now the userpage "Eddo" is directed to my userpage "Giggette". Only aesthetic differences, and added internal boundaries in the Kingdom of Mexico that I forgot in the previous map, but the only thing that really has been changed is the colours and font, please changed it to my newest style (spanish colours). --Giggette (talk) 23:59, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

Moving of Categories

For street names I use official transliteration adopted by Decree of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 55-2010 ([1]) and city name (Kiev) I use per this community decision.--Anatoliy (talk) 22:46, 30 June 2013 (UTC)

I understand what you're using but where is Commons' rule/policy/guidance that states that only this one transliteration is right for Ukrainian language?
