file renaming problem
[edit]Hello, proposed name File:Zeichen 405.svg cannot serve for a plurality of files; see File:Bundesautobahn 48 number.svg File:Bundesautobahn 999 number.svg. Can you make two distinct names, something like: File:Bundesautobahn 48 number (Zeichen 405).svg and File:Bundesautobahn 999 number (Zeichen 405).svg or inversely :File:Zeichen 405; Bundesautobahn 48 number.svg and File:Zeichen 405; Bundesautobahn 999 number.svg ?--Havang(nl) (talk) 12:32, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hello Havang, first of all, thank you very much for your support in renaming the files, even though I made some mistakes initially by requesting some incorrect renamings (old and new rules of the road). I prefer “Zeichen 405 (Bundesautobahn 48).svg”. --Adam Brody (talk) 19:09, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
- OKE. You may make the move request on (one or both) the files, that's easiest. --Havang(nl) (talk) 20:30, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
What error did you specifically have in mind? All I did was crop the margins of the file. You're not confusing it with the Pioneer plaque, are you? -- AnonMoos (talk) 20:41, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
- I'm really not an SVG artist as such, and I don't use Inkscape to edit SVG files (only to test or convert SVG files). I do technical fixes of SVG's by opening the files in a text editor (not Inkscape) and doing selective edits, and I convert PostScript vector source code into SVG (Category:Generated by PostScript), but redrawing things is not really my talent...
