Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Image sources and descriptions

At File:2,1,3-Benzothiadiazole 1374×600 3D Conformer.png, you wrote that the image was " 2,1,3-Benzothiadiazole from PubChem". That's a good description: what the image is and where you got it. But then you wrote that the source was "own work" and gave yourself credit for creating it. Which is it?--did you create this image (for example, using a molecular graphics program) or did you cut-and-paste it from PubChem? In your other uploads,you did not even give a description of what the images are. And your other uploads are in the same style but you did not mention pubchem. Please make sure your descriptions actually describe the images and give proper credit and licensing to work of others. DMacks (talk) 14:01, 31 August 2020 (UTC)

File copyright status

While everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the project, one or more of your file uploads had missing or false information regarding its source and copyright status. Please note that Wikimedia Commons takes copyright rules and infringement very seriously. Files may only be uploaded and included if their copyright status meets the conditions stated in our licensing policy, and if their provenance is clearly documented. Files that fail to meet those conditions may be deleted, and users who fail to meet them may be blocked. Please follow our first steps, if you haven't already.
