Fair use
[edit]Commons doesn't accept Commons:Fair use and you'll need to follow English Wikipedia's Non-free content guidelines when re-uploading. —Dispenser (talk) 12:25, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
File tagging File:3D Tour of the Femoral Canal.ogg

Thanks for uploading File:3D Tour of the Femoral Canal.ogg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). Warning: unless the permission information is given, the file may be deleted after seven days. Thank you. |

About your videos (& thanks)
[edit]Hi, thanks for uploading your videos!
Can you make a change to the YouTube video settings at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrBvla5ak4o? It currently reads that the video is available under a 'Standard YouTube License'. I know there is already an explicit mention in your channel about page that says Creative Commons BY-SA-4.0, but I recommend you apply the license setting to each video. This means the video will show up in filtered Google searches as being freely licensed, will be able to be remixed by other youtubers directly on youtube.com, and in Creative Commons' search engines targeted at content creators/reusers (i.e. more eyes). Technically the lack of the setting may have had implications for File:3D Tour of the Femoral Canal.ogg because the user who tagged it for needing permission likely was not able to see the license specifically set to the video. But I will now adjust the file pages here on Commons. OTRS permissions are generally not required if the license itself is actually written or marked on a video page like you did.
Just some tips. Anyways welcome. Let me know if you have other questions.
